Kick-off event of the project “Match’In – Pilot project for the placement of asylum seekers and refugees with the help of an algorithm-supported matching system”

The digital kick-off event of the Match'In Project took place on 14.06.2021. The project partners had the opportunity to get to know each other and to discuss and determine details about the goals, procedures, and allocation of roles in the project.

In four topic-specific groups the participants discussed the initial questions of:

legal foundations, competencies / responsibilities, and institutional interdependencies in the distribution of asylum seekers
technical details and challenges of an algorithm-based matching procedure
fundamental considerations in the selection of a suitable group of asylum seekers
the selection and involvement of municipalities
