In order to compare the characteristics, needs and resources of people seeking protection on the one hand and the conditions in the municipalities on the other, individual profiles are filled with data in the software developed for this purpose for each asylum seeker and refugee participating in the matching process, as well as for each participating municipality.
Following the completion of the software development in the course of 2023, all participating pilot municipalities have now been able to set up their profiles. This sets the course for the start of piloting in the participating initial reception centers at the beginning of 2024.
