From the 18th to the 20th of March, the new generation involved in the digitalisation of public administration gathered in Springe (city near Hanover, Germany) for the annual spring conference of the N3GZ Young Researchers’ Network to exchange new ideas and experiences.
On the 4th and 5th of June 2026, the HIZukunftsfestival took place on Hildesheim’s market square (city near Hanover, Germany), showcasing innovative ideas, companies, and projects. With its algorithm-based method for allocating asylum seekers, Match’In 2.0 fit in seamlessly.
What can algorithmic matching contribute in the asylum system—and where are its limits? At the AFAR closing conference, Match’In presented key lessons learned from Match’In 1.0 and showed how these experiences are informing the development of Match’In 2.0.
Following the successful completion of the first phase of the project, Match’In 1.0, the project team has now begun further developing the Match’In process with new and familiar faces.
