The Dialogue on Tech and Migration is a forum by the Migration Strategy Group on International Cooperation and Development (MSG). The forum is funded by The German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Robert Bosch Stiftung, and the Bertelsmann Stiftung. The Dialogue is dedicated to connecting the dots between the development and use of digital technologies and their impact on migration policy. One of the main goals was to connect international experts in the field and foster the development of fair and low-risk tech solutions for fair migration and mobility.
The Match’In project represented one example for possible use cases of technologies in the field of migration. The project team and the participants of the session exchanged fruitful ideas and pointed out potentials and challenges regarding the implementation of the Match’In procedure. Above that, the participants of the session shared experiences with regard to collaboration across sectors.
